Welcome to an eclectic ensemble of tunes that span multiple genres and have always been hard to pigeonhole, but include elements of folk, blues, jazz, instrumentals, ambient music, and indie rock. John has been described as a 'musical chameleon'. Some of his compositions are often said to belong on a film set, whilst his music has also been described as ‘evocative’ and ‘for grown ups’ (hopefully this last comment implied a level of sophistication).
